Over the last decades, energy production from biogas has gained importance and today is among the most relevant sources of renewable energy. Anaerobic digestion plants transform waste, residues and crops into biogas, which is then converted into heat and electricity on site, or upgraded and injected into gas grids. Our screw presses are used as well for separation and dewatering of wastes before digestion as for separation or dewatering of digester output.
