ECOTEC designs and builds scrubber-type gas treatment systems for pollutant emissions. As part of these gas treatment technologies, we are specialized in the turn-key delivery of dBiox® Bioscrubber systems and Biotrickling filters, two clean technologies for the removal of high concentrations of H2S from biogas streams when biogas is used as a renewable energy. This biogas can be generated in the anaerobic digestion of several industrial processes such as livestock farms, breweries, food processing plants, ethanol distilleries, paper factories and waste water treatment plants. Over the last years ECOTEC has been deeply involved in the desulphurization process for the use of biomethane in upgrading units, and we are currently implementing this technology in various biomethane production sites all around the world.
