The three-day event held under the patronage of His Excellency Fadi Jreissati, Minister of Environment will focus on discussing and addressing the most pressing issues faced by the waste management sector in Lebanon.

RAWMEC was born out of the need to address one of the biggest environmental challenges in Lebanon focusing on solid waste, industrial waste and alternative energy.

RAWMEC objective is to provide a platform for local and International experts, technology/solution suppliers and various/diverse waste management systems to showcase their proven expertise to address the challenges faced by the waste management sector professionals, a venue that will provide them opportunities to acquire new business contacts to expand their businesses.
