Foam removal
The FR-EW is designed to remove foam and particles from biogas stream coming from digester. With this kind of equipment, the clogging of down-stream equipment and piping can be avoided by utilizing a FR-EW. The foam and solids removal of the biogas flow is accomplished by two different techniques. First by changing directing the biogas stream by mean through into a baffle that is in an oversized chamber. Secondly, by a continuous water spray where the biogas is subjected to an extended exposure of this. As a result, the foam is broken down and removed through the drain located in the down part of equipment.
