Screw Technology for Biomass
The receipt and dosage are optimally harmonised with the mixing technology in the
fermenter. The vertical feeding screw is simultaneously used as a mounting for the
fermenter screw, which is important for fermenters whose walls cannot bear mechanical
loads.
The advantage of vertical conveying is that the screw element swims in the conveying
substrate and does not touch the side walls.
The special design of the screw pipe prevents the substrate from wrapping and guarantees a uniform transport into the fermenter.
