The NEMO® BO/SO Hopper pump with integrated cutting device makes cutting and conveying in one step a possibility. For example, large fruit or vegetable particles could be chopped and then pumped for further processing with a single piece of equipment.

These progressing cavity pumps with hopper and coupling rod with feeding screw and force-feed chamber is employed in almost all branches of industry. Providing continuous, gentle, and low-pulsation conveyance, the cutting unit in the hopper ensures that the product gets broken down and moved through the elements. A force-feed chamber outfitted with a cutting unit bearing up to 3 blades makes sure all is chopped properly.

An additional cutting unit can be installed at the discharge flange that will see a perforated disc nd rotating knife for further definition of the particle size.

Our NEMO® pump is offered in block construction with a flanged drive and a bearing housing design that comes with a free shaft that can be outfitted with various types of drives; such as servo motors, diesel engines, and hydraulic drives.
