Specially designed to minimize the heat loss of fluid through buried pipelines, REHAU pre-insulated PEXa piping is ideal for hydronic distribution in heating, cooling, industrial, agricultural, geothermal, and snow and ice melting applications as well as in process and hydronic piping systems.
REHAU INSULPEX is a pre-insulated PEXa piping system designed for the efficient underground transfer of hot or chilled fluid, particularly in applications such as agricultural, district heating, cooling, geothermal, snow and ice melting, and hydronic distribution systems. INSULPEX consists of a crosslinked polyethylene (PEXa) carrier pipe with an oxygen barrier, surrounded by closed-cell polyurethane foam insulation and encased in a durable corrugated polyethylene (PE) outer jacket. This integrated design eliminates the need for on-site welding, insulation, or corrosion protection, significantly streamlining the installation process. It is an excellent option for horizontal directional drilling due to its bonded foam.

Available in both single-pipe and two-pipe (supply and return) configurations, with sizes ranging from 25 to 160 mm and coil lengths up to 1640 feet for 25 mm, the system is highly flexible, allowing it to bend around obstacles and follow non-linear trench paths, which simplifies installation and reduces labor costs.
REHAU has multiple storage facilities across North America, ensuring prompt availability for our customers.
