Fournier’s HPD is an anaerobic digester system that breaks down organic materials in the absence of oxygen. This process is carried out by microorganisms that decompose the material and produce biogas. The biogas can be used as a source of renewable energy to generate electricity, heat, or fuel. The remaining digestate can be used as a nutrient-rich fertilizer.
