The heart of Thöni´s natural gas technology is the TNV Thoeni Wet Digester, which is filled continuously with solid and liquid input materials using a special feeding system. Slowly rotating paddle agitators ensure optimum stirring of the digestate, resulting in high biogas yields. As well as optimum prevention of floating or sinking layers. In addition, an integrated heating system ensures ideal conditions for the generation of biogas. The digested substrate is subsequently dewatered and can be spread directly on agricultural fields as a high-quality fertiliser.
