Description

What is Bio-CNG?

Bio-CNG (Virtual Pipeline) is a sustainable alternative to traditional fossil fuels that is derived from organic materials such as agricultural waste, food waste, and other biomass sources. These biofuels are renewable because they are produced from biological sources that absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) during their growth, which offsets emissions.

  • Renewable: Bio-CNG is made from endless supplies of organic waste
  • Carbon-Neutral: Its use doesn’t add extra carbon to the atmosphere
  • Cleaner Fuel: Burns cleaner than fossil fuels, cutting down pollution
  • Energy Security: Promotes local energy independence

Virtual Pipeline

Virtual pipeline technology offers an excellent solution for remote production sites. This process involves compressing biomethane into bio-compressed natural gas (Bio-CNG), transferring the Bio-CNG into a cascade system, and transporting it by road to a distant facility with a gas grid entry point.

The Green Profile of Bio-CNG

Bio-CNG plays a crucial role in promoting a circular economy as it uses organic waste to produce environmentally friendly energy solutions. This, which aligns with global efforts to mitigate climate change and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

Benefits of Bio-CNG

CarboRex®MS technology transforms biomethane into a valuable resource. This upgraded biomethane serves as a versatile substitute for natural gas, which means it can either enrich the existing natural gas supply lines or, where there’s no infrastructure, power vehicles as Bio-CNG (Compressed Natural Gas).
