MGP261 – In situ 3-in-1 biogas measurement instrument

Vaisala’s new MGP261 is the world’s first in situ 3-in-1 biogas measurement instrument for methane, carbon dioxide and humidity in demanding environments. Ex certified to zone 0 enables in-line installation in explosive atmospheres, providing data which facilitates process optimization.

The MGP261 offers real-time gas composition measurements without sample extraction or treatment, providing accurate, stable measurements in a compact and reliable instrument.  These measurements help biogas plant operators achieve better process control, and optimize gas quality and engine performance. Other benefits include reduced flaring and prolonged filter life. Humidity measurements also help to reduce wear in the engine and process components.
