ANKA provides all kinds of plant and field project consultancy, planning, maintenance, revision, engineering services and all kinds of equipment supply for the landfill and biogas plants with the most economic conditions.
ANKA was founded in 2014, specializes in biogas systems, and is a solution partner in this market. ANKA delivers smart and reliable solutions in renewable energy, especially VOC & siloxane removal.

The contaminant gases in biogas constitute one of the biggest expense items, with their damage to downstream equipment (gas engines, combustion chamber, natural gas grid, etc.). These substances not only cause wear on machine parts but also shorten the service life of the oil.
It is possible to significantly reduce the maintenance costs with our project-specific gas cleaning and conditioning systems based on gas analysis, especially for VOC, Siloxane, and Hydrogen Sulphide.
More than 10 years of gas treatment experience, ANKA brings tailor-made solutions to biogas, LFG, and RNG with high treatment performance and low pressure loss.
SGS ® by ANKA offers a unique solution for all these problems and treats the landfill or biogas to the acceptable limits by the gas engine manufacturers. Seymen LFG treatment plant has been on duty since the beginning of September 2020 for 10.000 m3/h LFG. After 1 year of operation of the 10.000 m³/h Seymen LFG treatment plant, the SGS system has been upgraded to 20.000 m³/h and has been supplying clean gas for 26 Innio Jenbacher 1415 kW gas engines since February 2022. The next expansion to 30.000 m³/h will be completed in the last quarter of 2022 by ANKA.

ANKA delivered its first Regenerative VOC Removal System in Brazil for the 1.4 MW Belo Horizonte Landfill Gas-to-Energy Facility located in Minas Gerais and operated by Asja Brasil. The system consists of three parallel 2,500 Nm³/h units, providing a total treatment capacity of 7,500 Nm³/h.
It ensures high-efficiency VOC removal with zero breakthrough risk and robust protection for downstream polishers and PSA upgrading units. Asja, a major international player in landfill gas power generation, achieves a 94% gen-set utilization factor (8,200 hours/year) and an average biogas capture rate of 85%, supported by ANKA’s reliable and fully automated gas purification technology.
SGS® by ANKA was installed and commissioned at Kalde Enerji’s Mersin facility. Initially designed for 4,500 Nm³/h, the system was upgraded to 6,750 Nm³/h, enhancing gas purification performance and overall plant efficiency. The SGS system supports Kalde Enerji’s 13.2 MW landfill gas-to-energy plant and provides continuous downstream protection with RNG-ready infrastructure. It has been in successful operation since 2024.
