MICRONOX BIOX for biogas

MICRONOX BIOX ON16 fits perfectly into the values of ecology and circular economy due to its natural origin and it is manufactured only by mechanical processes with 100% renewable energy. Its neutral pH, structure, composition and zero toxicity eliminate the risk of handling of corrosive substances, prevents the metal structures and piping from corrosion and mitigate the odours impact. Its high surface area (particle size <2µm) and high affinity for hydrogen sulphide make the product capable of reducing the concentration of H2S from 2,000-10,000 to 100-200 ppm.

Furthermore, the resulting product of the H 2 S removal is an inert mixture of Fe 2 S 3 and S (elemental), which becomes part of the digestate and could be applied to the soil as a fertilizer. This means the product begins and ends on land, providing solutions to key environmental problems such as SO 2 emissions to atmosphere and intensive use of inorganic fertilizers.
